Why I love Super 8?
Shooting on authentic Super 8 film has always been a dream of mine. But in 2026, it felt like a pretty illogical one. Steep film prices, barely three minutes of footage per roll, and long processing times. Everything seemed to point toward choosing the easy, digital option.
This precise contradiction is exactly what intrigued me. While digital is undeniably more convenient, life itself has never felt logical or convenient to me. The moments that stay with me are often fleeting, imperfect, and impossible to fully explain. Super 8 captures that emotional and mysterious side of life in a way that truly moves me.
Super 8 and Weddings?
There is something undeniably special about capturing a wedding on Super 8. While digital can capture every detail with perfect sharpness, Super 8 seems to capture the underlying magic and romance of a day much more vividly. It turns moments into memories that feel emotional, timeless, and dreamlike. It doesn’t simply show you what your wedding looked like, it reminds you what it felt like to be there.
